§2Qualified operators only

Diagnostic ultrasound equipment must be operated by appropriately qualified and, where applicable, professionally registered practitioners, and always in line with the manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU) for the specific model. Product summaries on this site do not replace the IFU, operator training or the manufacturer's safety information.

§3Regulatory status and clinical responsibility

SonarShop supplies medical equipment under the SAHPRA licence held by Surgi-Clin (Pty) Ltd — see our accreditation. That licence covers the supply and servicing of the equipment. The clinical use of any device — patient selection, scanning technique, interpretation of images and decisions based on them — is the responsibility of the practitioner and facility using it.

Product specifications, configurations and availability shown on this site may change without notice, and refurbished units may differ in configuration from the model descriptions shown. All content is provided errors and omissions excepted (E&OE). Confirm the exact specification of any unit on the quotation before ordering.
