§1Where we deliver

We deliver throughout South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. Delivery elsewhere in Sub-Saharan Africa can be arranged; ask when you request your quotation, as cross-border consignments need extra lead time for permits and customs.

§2Delivery costs — quoted per consignment

Ultrasound equipment is heavy, fragile and valuable, so we do not publish a flat rate table. Delivery is quoted per consignment as a line item on your quotation, based on:

• the destination and its accessibility;
• the weight and dimensions of the packed consignment;
• transit insurance appropriate to the value of the equipment.

§3Lead times

• Standard lead time is 2–4 weeks from order confirmation (written acceptance of the quotation and receipt of payment, unless other payment terms were agreed).
• In-stock items are processed for dispatch within 1–3 business days; the balance of the lead time is transport, and for refurbished machines, final testing and preparation.
• Lead times are estimates given in good faith. If a delay arises we will tell you promptly and give a revised estimate. Courier and customs delays are outside our control; see the terms & conditions.

§4Tracking

We send you the courier's tracking details when your consignment is dispatched, together with the expected delivery window.

§5Installation and commissioning

Installation and commissioning by Surgi-Clin engineers is available by arrangement, quoted separately. For larger machines we recommend it: commissioning confirms the equipment arrived in working order and starts your service record correctly.

§6Risk and receipt

• Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Consignments are insured in transit.
• Inspect the consignment on receipt, before the driver leaves, and note any visible damage on the courier's waybill.
• Report transit damage within 48 hours; the procedure and timelines are in our refund & return policy.
